Image PSYCHIC SURGERY
Psychic surgery claims to use psychic powers to heal and cure diseases without the use of anesthetic and medical equipment. The "surgery" is said to cause no pain. It is performed by people without medical qualifications.
Skeptical Perspective
Based on investigations, the people who conduct psychic surgery have little to no working knowledge of the human body nor the diseases and ailments that they are allegedly treating. There is no understanding or evidence of how psychic powers such as mind reading can exist nor how they can be used to heal disease and improve health. Patients of psychic surgery show no signs of improvement or their medical reports show no mention of a disease or illness to begin with.
